Introduction
Almost daily, new natural gas development projects are being announced across Sub-Saharan Africa: some for export schemes, such as LNG, international pipelines and methanol; others, for gas-fired generation for domestic industry. High commodity prices have not only expanded the search for oil and gas, but also aluminum, nickel, copper and gold, all of which need affordable, reliable power.
Growing violence in Nigeria is causing developers to fan out their search for gas monetization opportunities across the entire subcontinent. As a result, such countries as Guinea, Ghana, São Tomé, South Africa, Mozambique and Tanzania are announcing new gas policies, bid rounds and development projects.
To examine these trends, Zeus Development Corp has assembled this 1.5 day conference to present senior executives from several independent E&P companies, national oil companies, energy ministries, banks and professional service firms as well as its own analysis from a nine-month survey of fields, basins, and projects in 29 countries that comprise most of Sub-Saharan Africa. We believe if you are interested in natural gas-monetization in Sub-Saharan Africa, you will find this meeting enlightening, enjoyable and beneficial to your company’s success.
